Most Stylish at the Met Ball

Some call this the most fashionable event of the year and i would have to agree!
I couldn't wait to see what style of dresses would be worn and what amazing accessories there would be. The stars gathered on the 5th of May for the 2014 MET gala ball which was to celebrate the opening of "Charles James: Beyond Fashion" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Every style from simple dresses to lavish gowns were seen going down the red carpet.
I have chosen a few of my favourites to share with all!

Marion Cotillard in Dior

As a shorter dress this would have to be one of my favourites, i love the colour  and the detail of the dress and the structure of the neck line, it looks as though it has not straps and is backless. It suits her body shape so much and she looks beautiful. I also love the accessories she has paired it with, absolutely stunning.

Blake Lively in Gucci

*woof whistle* wow. This dress is hugging Blake in all the right places and showing of her figure. The colour also suits her a lot and its not over powering its keeping the dress classy and classic. The fabric that has been used is just divine and the way it falls over her legs creates such a beautiful silhouette  i like that its not all figure hugging and that there is fabric flowing at the back of a dress to make a train, it gives it a more classy edge and makes it aesthetically stunning. I also like that they have not gone over board with the accessories and just left it to one ring and some earrings.

Emma Stone wearing Thakoon and Miu Miu shoes

Emma Stone has to be one of my most loved stars. She is one of the only people that could pull of this fun colourful combination she has going on here, i love the two pink colours together, they compliment each other so well. This look is very girly and feminine and i love it on her, i also love the way her hair is styled it reminds me of the princess in Frozen's hair and it goes so perfect with the outfit. Its combining young and fun with sophistication and class.

Beyonce in Givenchy

Beyonce never gets it wrong. Let's face it, she looks amazing in most things she wears, but this gown is so right for her body shape. It has the plunging neck line and sheer bottom and shoulders. She just looks so classic and edgy. I love the hair peice with the vail over her face to, it's the perfect combination of accessory and outfit. It's such a sexy glamourous look.

Rihanna in Stella McCartney

We all know how much white is in at the moment, almost everyone has bought a classic white item for there wardrobes this year. Rihanna looks stunning in white. High neck tops and dresses are such a big trend at the moment. I really love the high neck on her, and the skirt flows beautifully over her legs. I was not 100% sure about the bare stomach but the fact that her arms and legs are covered it does work it still makes the outfit classy.

                                                             Kim Kardashian in Lanvin

This colour is just amazing. I really want to make a dress in this colour , it's just such an elegant and classic color. I really do love this dress, i am thinking of making a dress similar for a wedding I have to go to. I love the cut of it and how it shapes her in a the right places as well as the beautiful split in it up the leg, I probably wouldn't  make it as high as it is on her but it still is very sexy and elegant. I also love the shape of the top of the dress with the black coming over the bust as well. I don't love everything that kimkardashian wears but this dress was the perfect choice for this event.

                                                                         Model Karolina Kurkova, in

Marchesa

Now this is a statement dress, This is a wow factor , it has been structured and made so well, it's is stunning on karolina and detail is just incredible. I have always been one to love bold patterns and different looks that are outside the box and this dress is a princess gown. I love the flower details, the colours that have been used are so soft and elegant and the structure of the gown with the over lapping skirt and one shoulder neckline just compliment her body shape so well. This dress is just amazing to me, I think it's one of the best I saw for the night.

There is so many more red carpet looks, these are just a few that I loved! Check them
